Muktimoyee Saha
The writer was born on March 20, 1939 in Gowaltor village of Medinipur district to a Main family, father Shri Sridam Chandra Bishai, mother Shrimati Unmatta Bishai. Resident of Shaltora village of Bikura district by marriage. Husband Gurudas Saha was Assistant Director of Postal Services (ADPS) father-in-law and mother-in-law were Param Vaishnavs.Radhakrishna worship is still being done at home. Married at the age of 15. Under the companionship and supervision of her husband, the writer studied at home.From a very young age, he had an insatiable curiosity to know everything. Likes to read, write, travel and mingle with people. He has read Sarat Rachnavali, Bankim Rachnabali, Ashapurna Devi Rachnabali, Tarashaskar, Monilal, Rabindra Rachnabali.
Read Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, Sanchiyata, Sanchita. Her husband traveled to different parts of the country for job.
Husbands contribution behind Muktimayi Saha becoming a writer is memorable. Five girls and two boys are all well established. The writer had to take the leading role in teaching the children to study, sing, poetry, dance etc. Because husband was out most of the time for work. In his spare time, she used to write poetry in the gap between his children’s studies-_When picking the flowers of Thakur Puja, she used to compose poetry, while cooking, she used to hum the rhythm of poetry in his heart, After seeing the natural scenery, he carefully weaved the rhythmic garland like pearls in his minds heart and then he would express it in pen like the chirping of birds. There was no separate time for writing. He even wrote on whatever paper he got at hand. The written paper flew out. The husband has kept them carefully in the file. He has always encouraged the writer.
With the sincerity and tireless efforts of the elder daughter and the patronage of the elder son-in-law, this poetry was published.
Dr Syamal Ranjan Sarkar
Dr Syamal Ranjan Sarkar a renowned consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician In sonarpur , Kolkata 700150, is born and brought up in kumirmari village of sundarban . He is born on 1/11/1960. He passed 10th and 12 th standard from Habra Chaitanya College. He passed MBBS with Honours from Nilratan Sircar Medical College Kolkata, DGO from Calcutta Medical College , MD ( obstetrics and gynaecology) from IPGMER and SSKM/ PG Hospital.He was awarded certificate for 2nd position from University in MD Examination. He has served as Medical Officer in Gynae and Obst dept of West Bengal health services for more than 10 years . Now he is a senior consultant private practitioner in G &O , infertility and endoscopic surgery for more than 25 years and has his own nursing home in sonarpur.
Dr Sumita Saha
Dr.Sumita Saha born on 11/11/1961 and brought up in Saltora , Bankura. She passed class 10 and 12 from Sabrakone High school , Bankura . She completed MBBS from Nilratan Sircar Medical College Kolkata.
Currently she is serving as Senior Medical Officer in the department of Community Medicine in Calcutta National Medical College under West Bengal Health Services for more than 30 years.
Dr Deblina Sarkar
Dr. Deblina Sarkar DOB 03/11/1991 , born in Kolkata and brought up in Sonarpur Kolkata , passed class 10 from Atul Krishna Roy Vidyayatan, Sonarpur and class 12 from Kamrabad Uchha Vidyalaya ,sonarpur .Completed MBBS with Honours from Nilratan Sircar Medical College Kolkata, MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Medical College Kolkata, and DNB (obst and gynae) . Currently she is doing private practice as consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology.
